Homeless Animal Appreciation Day
Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation hosted a "Homeless Animal Appreciation Day" at Pearson Springs Park in Maryville as part of the 3rd Annual Tennessee Week for the Animals. They were joined by other Animal Welfare organizations from around the area to show appreciation for the hard work that they do to help save the lives of hundreds of Abused, Neglected and Stray animals in their communities every year. Here are some photos of the event for you to enjoy!

First Annual Fur Ball!
On February 23, 2008, Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation held the 1st Annual FurBall. This event was a HUGE success, helping SMACF to raise over $22,000.00 towards the cost of building the new Blount County Animal Center. It was a night full of fun, food, music by the Bouffants, and specail guests made up of several Adoptable animals from local Rescue Organizations. Here are some of the photos taken at this fantastic event!
