Get Involved
Every year, 3-4 million unwanted, abused and neglected animals are euthanized in Animal Shelters across the United States. Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation is always looking for volunteers to get involved in helping us plan for the future, and improve the welfare of animals in our community and all of the surrounding areas of East Tennessee. We strive to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
A modern Animal Care Center with educational outreach programs addressing the need for aggressive Spay/Neuter initiatives is just the beginning. Together we can address the primary reasons for the pet overpopulation. All our animals deserve the best we can offer them in a humane, safe and caring environment. View our New Blount County Animal Center Presentation to learn more about our plan.
If you would like to join us in our efforts, please visit our contact page, and get in touch with us. We have a large task in front of us. We must address the problems concerning animal welfare and overpopulation in our communities. We must give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
We are searching for major and minor financial donors who want to make a passionate statement to our Animal Welfare mission. If you'd like to contribute, please visit our donate page for details.
